Email communication

RAZ has three venues for email communication.  Please verify with the Executive Director that the Club Administrators are added to the appropriate lists.

  1.  This distribution lists contain club administrators, referees and Old Boys, and anyone who wishes to be aware of issues on a higher level. 
  2. RAZ Administrators:  Each year, an annual club registration is sent out to all clubs in the Fall to update their information, including coach and referee rosters for the club
    1. Based on the information entered by the clubs, the contact information for your club is listed on our website for RAZ volunteers, players and parents to reference
It is the expectation of RAZ that all Club Administrators who are listed as the main point of contact clearly communicate information sent to their coaches, volunteers, peers and membership as needed.
  1. Player and Parent distribution:  This email system is used to send emails out to the entire community notifying them of important events or updates on an as needed basis.

Team Registration fees

Rugby Arizona pays the USA Rugby bulk registration fee.  Clubs do not need to pay a separate club fee.  The bulk registration paid also releases RAZ clubs from having a mandatory 15 players in order to be considered a current club.

Field Dues

Common fields used in the Fall, playoffs and All-star games are paid for by RAZ.  Spring field dues are paid by the clubs.  Price is based as follows:

Youth:  a per player amount is calculated and an invoice is sent to the club.  The fee has historically been around $6/player.

High School:   Clubs are responsible to pay for field time for their home games.  Charges are calculated on a flat rate per game, should the "home" game occur at a common RAZ field on game day..

RAZ pays for Spring fields in advance.  Clubs are required to pay RAZ for their field usage at the end of the season.  Invoices are sent out before semi finals.  Payment is due by  the semi final.  Clubs may not participate in the Finals if payment has not been remitted. Payments for field dues may be made by check written to Rugby Arizona or paid online Please note that an online transaction fee may be applied to online purchase at the club's expense.
